Michigan lawmakers have shown the ability to find bipartisan solutions to high water bills for the most vulnerable. We now have a chance to make protections for low-income residents more permanent.
Like the rest of the world, Michigan must work toward mitigating the projected trajectory of climate change by significantly reducing our greenhouse gas generation.
By failing – time and time again – to put the people of Michigan ahead of campaign donations and corporate interests, legislators further abdicate any claim to the notion that we truly operate in the people’s best interests.
